Gorgeous consistent weather, amazing food and markets, lovely parks, incredible museums – the fun continues! Our Asheville friend Amy arrived Thursday night and is staying a ten minute walk from our apartment. We’ve enjoyed exploring lots of Mexico City highlights together. They included watching the community dancers Saturday in the park, the Folklorico Ballet in the incredible building of the Palacio de Bella Artes, the Gran Hotel de Ciudad Mexico, National Anthropology Museum, Soumaya Museum, and a new favorite – Museo de Arte Popular. Stunning murals in several locations, especially the Department of Education. And, oh so many fun restaurants.
